Radhika Merchant and Shloka Ambani exuded royalty in Manish Malhotra’s timeless golden ensembles for the Mela Rouge event hosted on Day 2 of Radhika Merchant and Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar, Gujarat.
The evening filled with music, dance and celebrity performances saw Radhika Merchant perform in an opulent handcrafted gold lehenga with intricate embroidery and embellishments. Radhika adorned the couture lehenga with a contemporary corset gilded in gold.
Manish Malhotra’s vision of sophisticated grandeur was met with Radhika’s luminous charm. A fusion of modern allure and everlasting elegance, the look was completed with a mystical embellished drape.
In a series of images, shared by celebrity photographer Rohan Shrestha on Instagram, Radhika looked glorious in the timeless ensemble. Styled by celebrity stylist Shereen, Radhika’s hair and makeup were done by celebrity hairstylist Sangeeta Hegde and celebrity makeup artist Loveleen Ramchandani. Radhika’s glamorous look was enhanced with diamond jewellery featuring a necklace, earrings and bangles.
Manish Malhotra in a never seen before avatar, danced to ‘Bole Chudiyan’ along with actresses Ananya Panday, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan and Khushi Kapoor. Looking dapper in the sherwani, the couturier proved that there’s nothing he can’t do.
Radhika performed to an array of songs celebrating her love for Anant Ambani. Anant Ambani, dressed in a black and gold kurta set, danced with Radhika on ‘Aaj Kal Tere Mere Pyaar ke Charche’. The couple garnered lots of love and blessings from their respective families and guests present at the event. Anant, being the gracious host, was also seen mingling with the guests ahead of his performance.
Shloka Ambani dazzled in a bespoke Manish Malhotra couture lehenga. Evoking a narrative of regal charm of the modern Indian woman, the highlight of the gilded gold lehenga was the intricately crafted embellished blouse. Celebrity makeup artist Puneet B Saini, took to Instagram and shared a series of gorgeous images of Shloka Ambani in the golden lehenga. She wrote: It was all about the glitz and glamour last night!! Shloka Ambani dazzles in a bespoke Manish Malhotra outfit.” Styled by Diya Mehta Jatia, Shloka’s hair was styled by Priyanka Borkar and Kesha Patel.
Shloka Ambani and Akash Ambani performed along with Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor to the melodious tunes of Kesariya.
At the Mela Rouge, a grand celebration was filled with performances by celebrities including Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Aamir Khan, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh, Akon, Karisma Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor among others.
With the Ambani family cheering on the celebrity performances, also seen having a gala time at the Mela Rouge event were Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, Ivanka Trump, Rani Mukerji, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Anamika Khanna, Sandeep Khosla, Natasha and Adar Poonawalla, Riteish and Genelia Deshmukh, Dwayne Bravo, Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Suhana Khan, Navya Nanda, Saina Nehwal, Sara Tendulkar, Sachin Tendulkar, Ram Charan, Tiger Shroff among others.
